Alexander Chamorro is helping artists feel more confident in making 💵. He writes a newsletter called “Thanks for Sharing”, which you can read here.
I went to art school. After I graduated, I didn't find work that was relevant to artmaking right away. I pushed myself to make money at day jobs, until I ended up doing commercial banking for years. I was inspired to learn as much as I could about managing my personal finances. Most of my clients were small business owners, so I was able to help with the financial side of their operations.
I took note that artists faced a unique problem: trying to run their art practice to be self-sufficient, while riding the highs and lows of an unpredictable income. I now guide artists to take the next steps to be confident in making money. Click here to read more about me.
